Kim Kardashian – BEAUTY COSTS

Kim Kardashian is arguably the Queen of $4.99 celebrity rags, but it costs thousands of dollars to get her face to look like that.
The celebrity who’s “famous for being famous” catalogued her make-up routine for In The Gloss (In The Gloss is to cosmetics as Foreign Affairs is to stories that actually matter) and turns out Mrs. Kanye West spends an estimated $1,977.75 on the sixteen products she puts on her face.
Fun fact! The money spent on those sixteen beauty products can feed 3,955 children in third world countries for one day through UNICEF.
“I think it’s more of a challenge to go on a reality show and get people to fall in love with you for being you,”Kardashian told Barbara Walters during a 2011 interview. “There’s definitely a lot more pressure, I think, for being famous for being ourselves than to play a character.”
There is a lot of pressure, most of it from the weight of the price tag on some of the 34-year-old’s beauty products. Like $795 for LED light therapy, and $455 for Guerlain Orchidée Impériale The Rich Cream which is described on the company’s website as “a texture that is rich yet discreet, ultra-nourishing yet melt-away, generous yet so silky smooth that it becomes impalpable. ”
Also on the list are an $85 dollar UV Protective Fluid (which we’ve obviously been mistakenly calling “sunscreen” my whole life,) a $155 body cream, and a $1.83 make-up removing towelettes.
