{"id":213,"date":"2012-01-25T18:47:26","date_gmt":"2012-01-26T02:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ilovetostyle.com\/?page_id=213"},"modified":"2013-05-08T12:56:40","modified_gmt":"2013-05-08T20:56:40","slug":"plead","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ilovetostyle.com\/?page_id=213","title":{"rendered":"Plead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>July 6, 2005<\/p>\n<p>Mitch Fisherman<br \/>\nPresident<br \/>\n<strong>The World Shoe Association<br \/>\n<\/strong>15821 Ventura Blvd.,\u00a0Suite 415<br \/>\nEncino, CA 91436<\/p>\n<p>Dear Mr. Fisherman:<\/p>\n<p>The World Shoe Association (WSA) terminated me on <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">July 5, 2005<\/span>, representing\u00a0the first over nearly three decades of my terrific career.\u00a0 I came to WSA offering high skills experienced in trade show management, and exceptional business creativity.\u00a0 During the interview <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ms. Luann Alesio, <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Operations Manager<\/span> clearly embraced these attributes and WSA\u2019s reference check verified the same from the requested business references.<\/p>\n<p>For that reason, this termination appears to concentrate on WSA\u2019s inexperience with understanding its current labor need as described by the job announcement for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Show Manager<\/span>.\u00a0 This employee-employer deal resulted from matching the job responsibilities and labor resources needed to be a part of a management team and operate a major industry trade show.\u00a0 WSA released me for a reason unassociated with the aforementioned job candidate and acceptance agreement.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ms. Luann Alesio<\/span> explained that her reason for termination is to hire a job applicant that could deliver more proficiently in Excel spreadsheet production; versus someone, more experienced in trades show management.\u00a0 She explained that she has cause to terminate since I have minimal use of an Excel spreadsheet use.\u00a0 It now appears that WSA is looking for someone like an accountant, bookkeeper, or clerk to fulfill the agreed upon position.\u00a0 As you probably know, Excel is a user-friendly program that only requires a few <strong><em>hours<\/em><\/strong> of familiarity to reacquaint you with how\u00a0to produce management quality reports.\u00a0 In contrast, it takes <strong><em>many professional trade shows<\/em><\/strong> to develop the skills and passion that WSA said it was looking for to fill this stated position.<\/p>\n<p>Your current vital exhibit collaborator GES, my past employer Los Angeles Business Expo, and previous employer the California Gift Show all verified my capabilities with optimistic responses.\u00a0 However, somewhere between my start date and less than 120 hours of work time, WSA executives changed the parameters of the position.\u00a0 WSA switched the agreed upon basis of candidate selection causing there to be a faint gap in my qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>WSA released me without the complete opportunity to produce.\u00a0 Under normal and accommodating conditions, you leave room for a new employee <em>to adjust and adapt<\/em>, <em>not terminate and release<\/em>.\u00a0 It is unfair of WSA to ask me to commit to its specialized teamwork and demanding schedules, only to have it change its mind without fair consideration or reason.\u00a0 This termination lacks California employer integrity that adheres to fair-mindedness in job applicant recruitment to meet the prescribed work parameters and expectations.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, WSA is obliged to extend another job opening to me and make good on its\u2019 original promise of selecting a <em>trade show manager<\/em>.\u00a0 In the process, WSA will build a better employee-employer relationship that resembles professional contract protocol.\u00a0 WSA is a well-built organization with a strong history, giving it the capacity to do the right thing and to amend a wrongful and impulsive dismissal.<\/p>\n<p>07\/06\/05,<br \/>\nM.
